National Resources Inventory (NRI)
My work with the Center for Survey Statistics and Methodology (CSSM) at Iowa State University includes the National Resources Inventory.
A collaboration with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, NRI tracks changes in land use, soils, water, and related natural resources on non-federal lands across the United States.

I worked on IFIS, the Iowa Flood Center’s platform for exploring flood conditions, forecasts, and inundation maps across Iowa.

Archaeological mapping · Portugal
Death and Life at Bolores and the Sizandro Valley
I contributed GIS and mapping work to Katina Lillios’s research on prehistoric mortuary sites in Portugal, exploring burial landscapes from the Late Neolithic through the Early Bronze Age.

India Winterim: Water Resources and Communities
My 2013 work in North India was part of the University of Iowa’s ongoing India Winterim collaboration involving IIHR—Hydroscience and Engineering, the Institute of Rural Research and Development (IRRAD), and the Sehgal Foundation.
I focused on water resources, groundwater salinity, and their cultural implications. The broader program connects water research with the everyday experiences of rural communities.
